Work in Progress Wednesday

My bead journal for August is a wearable.  I am encrusting the cuffs on my jeans with buttons, beads and lazy daisy http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.ca/bead embroidery.  I have pictured both the front and the back.  I love these colors and wear them a lot.  I also wear jeans a lot so it should be worth all the work.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
