Bead Journal for October


I used a coloring page as the base for this bead journal.  I am totally at a loss as to why I used a commercial image and not one of my own designs.  I do like the way it turned out though.  I went with a mixed media approach  using beads, metallic threads and micro beads adhered by gel medium.  I am linking with

    It's beautiful. I love the sparkle of the clear beads and the cord was just the right touch.

    There is such beautiful 3-D feel to this piece. The beads add nice shading.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
