Work in Progress Wednesday

I created this leaf print in a workshop 10 years ago!  Where did the time go?   I have always liked the results even though the colors are not as vivid as I usually enjoy.  This has sat waiting for inspiration all these years.  Finally I have added some hand stitching to it.  I am tempted to leave it at that.  It is rather simple but simple can be good.

Is this printed on paper? It has a soft and gentle look.

Hi Angela,

It's amazing how we can put things to one side, and start them again after many years. I am sure many stitchers do this. I am indeed one of them myself!

I think your leaf print is particularly seasonal, as here in Surrey, England, it has turned to Autumn yet again, with the leaves turning red and brown.

Your colours are very pretty, and subtle.

Simply can be good and it's definitely good for this piece. What a beautiful print.
