Take a stitch Tuesday

Sharon B at pintangle.com revisits the Vandyke Stitch this week.  I remember doing it the last time around.  I liked doing the stitch but wasn't overly pleased with how mine turned out back then.  This time I gave it a go with a thicker thread and a little bigger spacing.  I like it a lot more this way.  I was glad to have my memory refreshed for this stitch.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
