Work in Progress

Ocean Floor is my bead journal for January.   I took a mixed media approach in hopes of achieving a lot of texture.   It is pretty busy but I like it.

    I like the look of that. I don't know what you used to achieve that pink nautilus-looking shell in the upper right, but I love that.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
