Work in Progress Wednesday

When I started this piece I pictured it being mounted on a black background.  However that is not what I will be doing with it.  I don't overly love the way it turned out but I don't hate it.  I put too much work into to not do something with it so I came up with the idea of using it as an altered book cover.  I think it could be a really interesting cover.  Now I have to find the right book for it.

    it will be very interesting to see how you use it as a book cover. Butterflies are ALWAYS lovely!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
