Journal Page

Another busy week and I was tempted to skip the journal prompt this week.  But, I really didn't want to as I think the quote should be in my journal and done is better than perfect in my book.   Not every journal page has to be a master piece!  'Art opens the closets, airs out the cellars and attics.  It brings healing.' is the quote by Julia Cameron.  I totally believe that.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
