Work in Progress Wednesday

Here is the start of my bead journal for May.  The base is wool with needle felting.  I have attached a strip of rhinestones and a beaded spoon.  The small spoon I found a while back at a thrift store.  There was a bag of them for just a few dollars.  As soon as I saw them I knew I had to have them as a commentary went off in my head.  The commentary is about education, which is near and dear to my heart.  I will save it for another time though.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
