Work in Progress Wednesday






I am going with a fall theme for my September bead journal project.  I have used an old doily that I dyed this summer  as the base.  I am also using some of the cotton thread that I dyed.  It feels good to use my dyed materials.

    Although temperatures are still high and the air extremely humid here in Tokyo, your beading project reminds me that it actually IS autumn. You are going to make something stunning of this doily. Have fun.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
