Work in Progress Wednesday

My animal print fabric book has definitely been a challenge.  I have learned much from it.  This page spread was looking like a hot mess but I wasn't willing to give up on it.  Admittedly I thought about completely covering it with another piece of fabric until I decided to try one more thing.  I used some watered down acrylic ink in a spray bottle and sprayed the whole page.  What did I have to lose?  Nothing, and I like the page a whole lot more now.  Certainly it could be better but I am willing to take the lessons and move on.

  1. Once, I've used some watered down acrylic ink in a spray bottle and sprayed on to the fabric. The outcome was perfect!

  2. This kind of design has become an 'I spy' page. Prints are half hidden behind paint and stitches. I think it is fun!
