A Play Day

This past Monday I had some friends over to play.  I love my art play dates with my friends!  These ladies are not fibre people but one of them had bought some wool roving and wanted to know how to use it.  I deviced a very simple idea and we created some little masterpieces!  We had so much fun, creating and chatting.  I think I will call my piece  finished and put it in an altered book.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
