Work in Progress Wednesday

A guild member suggested to me that I mount my bead journals on something bigger and thereby making them more important.  I like her suggestion and I am thinking about applying this bead journal to this.  This was just a little experiment with my hand dyed pieces of cotton.  I think this could work.

    I like that idea very much! Having the fabric all around it, does draw your eye right to the beaded journal piece.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
