Work in Progress Wednesday

It is a little difficult to see but there is a tree outline on this block.  It is the same tree shape that I have used in the past.  Working in a series never used to appeal to me.  You would think that all the french knots I used to fill in this tree shape last month would deter me from doing another.  Nope!  I am having so much fun with this shape and will definitely be doing more.   This is my stitch a day project for May.  I am using only silk ribbon this time.

    This tree will be very different from the one with French Knots. It is nice to find. design one really loves and work it in different ways. I like the rich look of the ribbon embroidery.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
