I heart Macro

Years ago a friend showed me her very expensive macro lens.  Something went off inside me.  I knew I had to get a macro lens.  It took me a while to save for it but it was worth it.  It is my most used lens.  I am amazed and captivated by the beauty and detail in our world.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
