Bits and pieces

Another fabric journal page is coming together.  The base is a gelli print that I further embellished with permanent markers and Smooch inks.  I still need to adhere the paper/fabric dragonfly but I think I will machine quilt the background first.

    You already have some sparkly things on the wings, haven't you? I bet you will add more shiny things like metallic thread or beads. This will be another vibrant work of art.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
