Bead Journal and such


My bead journal for July is rather different for me.  I wrapped beads around a piece of driftwood that I found.  Eventually, it will be attached to an altered book.  The top photo is a mixed media fibre piece I created.  Lots of texture on this one!  I believe I will attach it to the cover of the same altered book.  I just haven't found the right book to alter as yet.  Eventually, this will all come together.

    You have two of the three important parts to make this into a most unusual book. Love the beaded branch.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
