Work in Progress Wednesday

Last week I posted this butterfly for the green 'sinchie' challenge our guild is doing.  I received some terrific ideas and was encouraged to not give up on it.  I made a color copy of it and added some black, which is allowed according to the challenge rules.  So glad I made a copy of it to try this idea out!  I will definitely add some black details to the fabric piece.  I will also be adding some beads and sequins!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
