Journal Week #36

The journal prompt this week is nature.  This page was quite simple to create.  I used pages from an old hymnal for the background and some flowers I cut from a wallpaper sample book.  I love the old and vintage feel to this page.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
