Work in Progress Wednesday

I am enjoying my slow stitching.  This month I decided I would just let the stitching happen.  I am using silk charmeuse as a base and I am using some beautiful silk threads that were gifted to me by a dear friend.   Love stitching with silk!

    You have talent, and therefore this is so easy for you, to just let the stitching happen. The result is always pleasing! I understand how much you enjoy working with silk, heavenly!

    The fabric and stitching are lovely! My daughter sent me a whole bunch of silk threads when they were living in China. I haven't been brave enough to use them yet though.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
