Work in Progress Wednesday

I am just getting started on decorating my Crazy Quilt journal project for October.  I painted the laces to go with this block.  I used my Inktense blocks and am very pleased with the way they worked.Still, lots to do but if I make a concentrated effort it may get done before the end of the month.

    Fantastic placements of the various hues of yellow/orange. The lace and flowers add so much interest.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
