A photo walk

Admittedly this is not a terribly interesting image but I am sharing it anyway.  It was a lovely afternoon for a walk with a dear friend.  One of those afternoons I will tuck away in my memory for years to come.  I am blessed to have this beautiful friend in my life.  We have shared many photo opportunities together and they are all the sweeter for having shared them her.

    I disagree - this IS an interesting image. I want to press the grasses aside to see what lies beyond. There's an air of mystery here!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
