Journal Prompt #47

The prompt this week was opposites.  I created this journal page with circles cut from colourful monoprints.  The middle circles I copied in black and white and applied them.  The quote I chose says 'Most people think of success and failure as opposites, but they both are products of the same process.' Roger von Oech.

    Interesting. I like the effect created by placing the circles in lines. Beautiful saying, too. :-)

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
