Work in Progress Wednesday

My stitch a day project for December is coming along.  I love the fabric background I created with oil pastels.  I have quite a collection of six-inch squares from the projects I have been doing this year.  I haven't quite decided how to use them.  Not all will go together so it can't be one big piece.

    I don't see the starry night but the dim winter sun in Scandinavia watching over the Christmas tree. Nice use of stitches!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
