Word for the year

It has been a few years since I have chosen a word for the year.  I have decided on a word this year as I realize it is quite beneficial to me.  This year my word is sufficient.  I fully admit to having hoarding tendencies when it comes to my art and craft supplies.  I am not as bad as some but I do have more than the average bear.  To dig a little deeper I think the collecting of supplies helps me to feel like I am sufficient/enough.  I could blather on more about that but being a very private person don't feel this is the place.

Definition of sufficient

1a enough to meet the needs of a situation or a proposed end
  • sufficient provisions for a month
b being a sufficient condition
2archaic qualifiedcompetent

My aim is to use up what I have in my stash, so hopefully in the end I will NOT have sufficient amounts left. I hope that will make more creative - having to solve the problem with alternative things.

my goal is to enjoy my supplies this year. I won't pretend to not buy any new ones, I've already done that, but I want to use what I have with abandon. The ever rising cost of fabric is a deterrent too. Sufficient is a good word and goal. It leads to satisfaction, which might lead to happiness, which could take one to joy. We'll see!
