Work in Progress Wednesday

I finished up my stitched butterfly.  I used my own hand dyed silk thread to stitch on to silk fabric.  This exists in a small silk book I created.  I am rethinking the book idea.  It is rather flimsy so I think I will cut out the pages and use the stitched pieces in something else.  Not exactly sure what at this moment but it will come to me.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
