Guild Challenge

This is my start for the February sinchie guild challenge.  Black is the color for this month.  I have black fabric wrapped around foam core and metallic black thread wrapped around that.  So far I have included a butterfly on each of my six-inch blocks.  I am trying to figure out how to make a butterfly with this spoon I have wrapped in beads and attach it to the block.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
