Work in Progress Wednesday

There is only a little over a month left of my artist in residency with the Ayr Library.  I have completely enjoyed doing this and am now focusing on getting the altered book complete.  The cover is going to depict Watson Pond which is in Ayr.  Pictured above is what I am planning to use for the water.  I had a lot of fun creating it.  One of my fibre guild friends shared a piece of interestingly textured stained glass with me.  I used it to do a rubbing with crayons onto mulberry paper.  I then adhered a piece of sheer blue fabric to it with glass beads gel (a medium by Liquitex).  I love the way it looks!
