Time to play

A while back I had an idea for an altered book that features flowers.  I made a few flowers but got sidetracked.  This week I found time to make some more flowers or at least some components (on the left).  I am going to need quite a few flowers so will have to put on my thinking cap for more varieties.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
