Bead Journal

It is rather a late start in the month for my bead journal but the inspiration was lacking.  It feels good to finally be using this lovely piece of indigo dyed cotton.  Funny that this piece doesn't have a single bead on it.  Yet.

    Love the delicate embroidery and embellishment you have added to the lace doily. A gentle contrast to the indigo dyed background.

    What a fantastic combination of indigo, dyed laced doily and silk ribbon embroidery. A sprinkling of beads will be next, I guess?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
