Stitching journal covers

I am having a good play with stitching fabric collage journal covers.  My daughter in law suggested I do a mermaid altered book and I still may.  The mermaid theme inspired me to make my own style of junk journal.  I plan to give one to her and sell some for an upcoming studio tour.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
