I love a good challenge

Ailsa Craig Quilt & Fibre Arts Festival& Arts Center has posted a fibre art challenge.  New Zealand through our eyes is the theme.  I was really excited by this as I was in New Zealand in 2017.  I bought one piece of fabric while I was there and knew I had to use it for this challenge.  It is the batik at the bottom.  This is just the start and can't wait to do more!

    The three pieces go together so well they surely must have been made to be in the same landscape. I like the way you have created light in the sky.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
