Work in Progress Wednesday

Make do mend is the challenge San Fransisco School of Needlework is hosting.  I love participating in their challenges.  I have embellished these well-worn jeans for the challenge.  I can't wait to wear them!  I think they are pretty funky and fun.

    Hi Angela, love the mended jeans. I bought a pair of ripped jeans recently. I love them and they are so comfortable but I can't wear them everywhere, so I'm adding some embroidered patches. It's a lot of fun though rather awkward to stitch!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
