Six-Inch Square

I was excited to work on the guild challenge for April.  The subject is water.  Water is often represented in my work.  I usually take a mixed media approach to my sinchies.  For this one, I needle felted silk to a wool base.  I also made a mixture of paint, mica flakes and glass beads to create the sand.  I am pretty happy with the way this has turned out but I think it needs some beads.
