Work in Progress

I feel like I haven't been very productive this last couple of weeks.  In fact, I have just in a different way.  I have been purging my abundance of supplies.  I took a carload of things to the thrift store and that feels really good.  I have also unearthed some treasures.  I have four blocks sewn together, upper right.  I never finished those blocks and now I am glad that I haven't.  I pulled out some more recent blocks and realize that they look pretty good with those four.  Also, the one that I am working on this month will look good with them.  That means one more block needs to be created to make this into one larger quilt.   I had been puzzling about what to do with the blocks I am creating this year for the crazy quilt block challenge.  Now I know what to do with some of them!

They really look like they were made for each other.
Often we have so many things that we are surprised when we find something 'lost and forgotten'. A good southing out often leads to discoveries.
