Water

I cut a 6 inch square from a cleanup cloth.  The colour in the cloth became so rich after being used many times.  I applied fibre paste and pressed a shell slice into it.  I added a bit more colour with Inktense pencils.  No stitching has been added yet as I am not totally sure that I will add stitch to it.  I am definitely leaning towards it though.

    Beautiful recycling! I love the shell embossment. Maybe you want a bit of sparkly stitches or beads?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
