Work in Progress Wednesday

This is my crazy quilt block for May.  I had a lot of fun with this one.  I love the circle shape and will likely be creating at least three more CQ blocks in a circle shape.

    I love when traditional patchwork designs (Log Cabin, Dresden Plate, stars and so on) are given the Crazy Quilt treatment. This is such a showcase of stitches and threads.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
