Work in Progress Wednesday

Our guild sinchie challenge is coming to completion.  For May our challenge was to depict happiness.  My piece is a truly mixed media kaleidoscope.  The whole group of sinchies will be on display in St. Jacobs for the Quilt and Fibre show.  It will be a really interesting display.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
