Slow Stitching Talisman

Oh bear, I love you!  I am quite pleased with myself!  This bear is full of nature.  Bugs, flowers, leaves and a tree fill her up.  They fill me up!  I don't need to camp in the wilderness, like my husband to be filled up with nature.  I am so glad that he could get away this long weekend to camp.  I enjoy having the house to myself and not having to cook!  Chick flicks and stitching for me.  Of course, there a bit of soaking up the beautiful sunshine as well.

    I just LOVE your bear. It is such a great idea to fill him/her with all sorts of things you find in nature.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
