Water

This weekly exercise of depicting water in some way is quite enjoyable.  Eventually, all these six inch squares will end up together.  I haven't completely decided what that form will be but I know the idea will come together.  This week I used fusible web and embossing powder on silk.  I totally love the way it turned out.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
