Work in Progress Wednesday

Supposedly there are no rules when it comes to crazy quilting.  And yet I did find myself reading some rules about CQ not that long ago.  I am a challenger by nature.  Admittedly, there are times when I feel like I should fit into the box but I usually come to my senses.  This crazy quilt block some will find objectionable as it doesn't quite conform to those rules so I have hesitated to post about it.  I have needle felted silk onto the base fabric instead of piecing them together.  I love the texture that happens with needle felting.  I have begun the embellishing process but there is still a fair amount to do.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
