Work in Progress Wednesday

I had a lot of fun with this one.  I think it is done but I may add a few more embroidery stitches to it before it is sewn to the other blocks.  I am especially pleased with the texture created by needle felting the silk.  I have no clue what I will do for my crazy quilt project for August.  There is still a little over a week to figure it out though.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
