Work in Progress Wednesday

I have made a good start on my crazy quilt block for August.  I decided to use all silk fabrics again.  I needle felted them onto a wool base.  I love the texture that creates.  Now for the fun part, the embellishing.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
