A spot of sunshine

Yesterday was one of 'THOSE" days.  You know the kind that is frustrating, nothing goes smoothly.  I decided to stop trying.  I took myself outside to sit in the sunshine and play with a mandala.  Working in a circle form has me mesmerized these days, years.  Perfection is set aside and I doodle/draw happily.  Just what I needed.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
