Water

Still playing with my water experiments.  I pieced together some of my surface-treated fabrics and then collaged on top of that.  I used some of my silk paper, cellophane, sari silk, sheer fabric and some dyed cheesecloth.  Even with all of that, there seemed to be something missing so I added a piece of shell that I had coloured with alcohol inks.  These six-inch squares don't take a long time to create but ever so fun for me.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
