Work in Progress Wednesday

Here is my crazy quilt project for August finished.  I just can't stop myself from working in a circle form.  I remember being interviewed by my sister for a project she was doing about twenty years ago.  She asked me about my favourite shape.  Even back then it was the circle.  Somethings don't change, nor do they need to change.

    This one is a real beauty! I love circles too... I think we are inspired by nature which has no straight lines as such.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
