Mandala

Gosh, there is a lot of white here.  I don't like a lot of white in my pieces.  I like the mandala I have created so far with just surface treatments.  I definitely want to take it further with stitch but what do with all that white?

    You could dye the whole piece! Or cover it with tulle before you start adding embroidery and beads.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
