Work in Progress Wednesday

This is the start of my crazy quilt block for October.  I know, it doesn't look very crazy quilt like!  I am okay with that.  I enjoy pushing boundaries.  I am eager to get to the hand stitching part of this.

    A naked cq block always looks a bit forlorn. Just wait till it is full of fancy stitches and beads!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
