Slow Stitching Sunday

This is my crazy quilt block for October.  I know, it isn't exactly a crazy quilt piece.  That's okay.  I love to push boundaries.  For this block, I stole ideas from two artists I really like.  Van Gogh and Klimt are the artists.  Can you recognize their influence?  This block was a lot of fun to create.  Did I mention I love to push boundaries?

    SO FUN! I can totally see the Van Gogh influence, but I'm not as familiar with Klimt.
    It's a wonderful piece with crazy quilt influences and I love the sky stitching texture!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
