Slow Stitching Sunday

This is my crazy quilt block for November.  I tried a new technique and I love it.  Pretty sure I will do something similar for December.  The base of the block is an inherited block from my Aunt Pat.  She had done most of the embroidery of the preprinted block but not all of it.  I wanted to figure out a way to use the block but not cover over all her beautiful stitching.  I think this works.  You can the lovely yellow roses she stitched and my stitching only enhanced it.  I am quite pleased with my garden.  I hope everyone feels the sense of joy that I do.

  3. Hi Angela, that is so lovely. It's great that you can use your aunt's piece and add to it.
