Slow Stitching Sunday

My bead journal for December is finished.  I was glad to have a work shift yesterday to get caught up on my beading!  The holidays can really mess with my time for creating!  This beaded mandala/kaleidoscope was fun to create.  The possibilities are endless.

    Mandalas are like border quilts where you just build and build and build, and finally you have a beautiful result.
    I hope you will find some more beading time as the year comes to a close.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
